How to change the post screen

Hi. As a first post here this is hardly a necessity, but it would be good to change things at some stage.

When my PC starts (Windows 7 HP 64-bit) I get a hideously ugly splash screen relating to my M/B (Gigabyte) whilst the post is going on (not the Windows boot screen). I can disable this in the BIOS but then I see the post information instead (not a whole lot prettier). The splash screen is useful as it has all the shortcuts listed on it, del, F9 etc. I am not against having a splash screen, just this splash screen! Is there a way of changing it without going too much 'under the bonnet'? (I did it once some years back in the early days of XP, through 3rd. party software, but the whole thing was not very stable and I uninstalled it in the end: hoping there's something a bit more straightforward in Windows 7, several years on).

Many thanks,

Martin

Never as simple as you think, is it? .. first found my Gigabyte CD-ROM is unreadable in any drive I tried, so couldn't load FaceWizard (I've asked for a new CD-ROM, this is a brand-new PC), then the link to FaceWizard on the page you indicated leads to a 404 error message.. Ho hum.

Well, found the programme elsewhere online, downloaded & installed it, made my own logo screen in Photoshop - and now start-up looks a whole lot classier!

Thanks again for the information,

Martin
