    Windows 7 - Aero Problem


    Hey Guys,
    I Just installed Windows 7 it's just that i can't get Aero theme!
    When i open Personalize the Windows 7 Aero Theme is applied but i cant get the look .
    I re-installed my drivers and upgraded my graphic card still nothing!
    I now have a ATI RADEON 9200. first i was using it at built-on graphic memory.
    When i run the troubleshooter it says the Video card does not support Aero ,then how come i can get the Aero style in the installation setup???
    PLZ HELP ME GUYS!!!
    It's now been almost a week finding a solution! I have tried to force enable Aero but Still Nothing!!
    I Have a Dell Gx270
    2 GB of Ram Memory
    3.0 Processor Intel Pentium(R) 4.
    Please Help ME!!

    Your card is not supported in Windows 7. As a matter of fact, the card is no longer supported in any operating system. You should still be able to install the XP drivers, but not via the official installer.

    Welcome to SevenForums cublion3..!

    the fact that the 9200 cannot run DX9.

    Sorry to say but, There is no way of getting aero glass to work on a 9200 on the newer builds. Full Stop. The card is a DX8.1 Card

    As said above, Card isn't supported.

    Time to upgrade my graphics card!! any suggestion which card i should take for Aero???

    AFIAK, Anything equal or above an ATI Radeon 9700 will work. That is the oldest card I used Windows Vista on, and it supported Aero just fine. You might even get away with a 9600.

    Yeah depends on my Pocket!
    which is currently going low!
    I searched Aero for non-compatible aero cards! I heard that there's a way of force enabling Aero!
    Any Ideas!!
    It's better if it works out isn't it??
