Windows 7: search results folder details arrangement...

how can I get my search results to list the address as it exists, rather than with favoritism for the subfolder an item was found in,

e.g.,



I want
"c:\folder\sub folder\sub sub"

rather than being shown
"sub sub (c:\folder\sub folder)"

it makes things much easier to navigate.

Windows 7 now calls the useful style "Folder path". Right-click in the header row, choose "More", and choose "Folder path".

I would like to find one person who thinks the current "Folder" style used in Windows 7 is useful. It's totally stupid. Or to put it in a way a Win 7 programmer apparently likes: stupid (It's totally).

I can't believe no one provided an answer to your question in nine months. This problem was killing me, so after an hour of searches without finding the answer, and then finding the answer by myself, I thought I'd add this for others who find this through a google search.

I have found every change in Windows 7 to be a hindrance to my work.

I like some things (but I upgraded from WinME to 7, and apparently many things I like are XP or Vista changes, not 7 changes)

looks like Windows 7 won't even revert back to some irritating default*, either, after unticking 'folder' and replacing it with 'folder path'!

I would NEVER have gone through that big 'more' list if you hadn't pointed it out. thanks, man!!
