Windows 7: Turn of monitor/screen lockdown/screensaver software

Turn of monitor/screen lockdown/screensaver software

I have been using Mon0 Software tu turn my monitor off when I am away from the pc. Mon0 - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET

But sometimes my monitor turns back on again, I have no idea why. I tend to turn off my monitor even though I leave for about 10 mins from the monitor. I physically turn off my LG with the remote, but the power button on the dell is faulty, hence my resort to Mon0. Is there a better turn off software or a screen lockdown (does not have to be password protected) software. I was thinking of using an aquarium screen saver but then its not really that green. I am not sure my constant on off's will kill the monitor thought.

Any suggestions?
