need help customizing
I just started to to customize my windoes 7 64x.
im and trying to do this as simply and safly as possible(im still learning).
instead of using any patchers i used uxstyle(it worked).
i was able to download a theme, when i did and applied it it was just the desktop background image. when i applied it the task bar, start buttons and all that change but it was the look i wanted(it look like an old computers and was a solid gray).
what i want to do is be able to also customize the task bar, start buttons, icons and the i think gadgets(clock and cpu and ram meter). Im not sure but i think that is called a custom shell??? if not what is a shell?. i also would need to know where to put the files and how to apply them( like when i put the files for my custom theme in the theme folder, under resources.
the easier the better and free would be just fantastic. I am getting my custom themes from divianart.com. Also when downloading the files what kind of files do they need to be ???
