    Until activity.bmp is decoded correctly, we can still use bootscreens like in XP. Have a look;

    Hello to everyone! I'm new here, but the topic is very interested to me... Actually, I have try to change the Windows 7 boot screen to self-made since this version of Win released. Unfortunately without any success...yet. And the problem is really in the digital signature, which I don't know how to bypass or disable in any way. So, I look's many times across the net for problem solution, but haven't find nothing valuable. And i still do hope someone will find the way to edit and apply this goddamn boot screen in Win 7. If I'll find any options, how to fix it, I'll post it here immediately.

    No, it's about boot screen, not log on. Thanks a lot, but I'm already changed my log on to Mac-like long time ago...

    For x86 you can do like I've described. For x64 you must disable patchguard (unless testsigning works). For x86 it is sufficient to have the pe checksum correct.

    Wow! I was unfocused, case haven't been slept last two nights, but now i've check your url and try with static image first. To my surprise it works perfect on my x86! But i still want to find how to make an animated boot screen... Also, it getting hard, but i think that i'll get it in a few days. Any way - thanks for solution :) Great job!
