    Windows Color Scheme

    How do I change the Windows Color Scheme? I have tried for a good half hour and haven't found anything. I am trying to change the scheme, not the theme.

    Start Menu -> Personalization -> Windows Color and Appearance -> Advanced appearance settings...

    Does that do it?

    I dont see Personalization in the Start Menu, I searched for it, but that only let my change the theme. I am on Windows 7 by the way.

    EDIT:Ok, I got to Advanced Appearance settings, what do I do once I am there?

    @Baronvonbbqsauc:
    Sorry, I just noticed the theme changes are only available for Basic or Ease of Access themes. If you're using Aero it doesn't seem like you can adjust stuff like header fonts, border size, that kind of thing. You could try looking at the Ease of Access options though. It's the bottom-most link on the lefthand side of the Personalization screen, the area marked "See also".

    right-click anywhere on your desktop (without clicking an icon). select "personalize" from the pop-up menu. at the very bottom of the window that opens, click the "window color" icon.

    Thanks for the tutorial link IownAmoneyPit, but as I suspected it too repeates the same advice that you can't change the individual UI elements if you're not using Classic or a High Contrast theme. To be honest though most of the UI changes do make more sense in Classic rather than Aero.
