Hi, is there any option that can show folder size in win explorer? There is a column size but it only shows size of files inside the folder.
What exactly are you wanting to do??
The size of the files inside would be the size of the folder.
Yes but I want to see size of folder without entering in folder.
In addition, you can hover with the cursor over the folder, it will show you the size of the same. You can speed up the time needed for the pop up to show, check this tut:
Mouse Hover Time - Change
(mckillwashere) Heh maybe I'm not expert for windows but I know that.
Like you can see size of any file inside folder I'm asking is there an option to see size of folder without clicking on properties?
You can try the program called "everything"
You just said without entering a folder.... I am almost sure you can click on it and it will calculate the size and display it at the bottom.
What exactly do you not understand? It is not a question of 'wanting to do' but rather, wanting to SEE. The op is very clear. OK - I wll attempt to simplify, what the op is requesting is that IN ADDITION to seeing the size of files under the size column of the explorer main window, the size of FOLDERS do not display and wants to be able to see it. In the attached image the size of the files are displayed BUT NOT the size of the folder (named 'Manuals').
Yes, there is !

It is a quote from the developer's description :
- folder/file size (System.Size) : it displays the size of the item ( 680 Mo for example)
So, we are all agreed that, like the size of the files under the SIZE column, we want to see the size of the folder under the SIZE column as well (see post #8).
