    Windows Classic Show Desktop icon?


    Any way to, without applying windows classic theme, to get the Windows Classic theme Show Desktop icon?

    Thanks Shawn! Glas I know where the icon itself is now. However, I want the icon to appear where the default "gray bar" show desktop icon is on taskbar all the way to the right. Not just a desktop shortcut.

    Sorry Agunslinger, but I don't think that's possible in Windows 7.

    The closest I can get you is for you to either pin the shortcut above to the taskbar, or enable Quick Launch and place the shortcut above in it.

    No, I think. In Windows 7 if you chose "Windows Classic" theme that is the desktop icon that replaces the default Windows 7 silver bar icon. That pciture is actually of a Windows 7 desktop with Windows Classic theme applied. So it has to be hackable.

    Just make sure it is not hidden in the notification area.

is there a way to move this from the right side of the screen to the left (where it normally was) because on my laptop i do not always have a mouse and its very annoying to have to go so far across the screen to get to the desktop icon thats hiding in the bottom right corner...
How to show the desktop icons as icon (no thumbnails) ant the windows explorer as thumbnails? Thanks!
