    Taskbar Icons Help

I know this is petty but its doing my head in! Before i reformatted my machine the taskbar icons were a good size when not opened and in use. Now after reformat for some reason when i open an app or anything through the taskbar the app stays larger in the taskbar and not the little icon size that it is normally (or used to be before reformat). I used to be able to open multiple windows explorer windows from literally just hitting the win explorer icon but now once something is opened it gets larger in the taskbar - similar to how when a program is open in say xp and i cant open another instance of it without opening it elsewhere or right clicking. . Cant seem for the life of me to figure this one out. Any help would be much appreciated!

Hello Joseph, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Could you post back a screenshot showing this to see if it may help determine what may be the issue?

    Thank you. :)

It looks like you have set the taskbar to have ungrouped buttons instead of icons. You can use step 4 in the tutorial below to select Always combine, hide labels to have icons again.

Taskbar Button Grouping - Enable or Disable

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn
