Is this possible?
hi, i was wondering if this was possible to keep the "calendar" opened at all times?

no, you can't keep it opened all the time (not the same as 'pinned' in windows7-speak.)
i use rainlendar - it's infinitely more useful than the windows calendar, as you can set appointments, alarms etc with it, very customisable too...and free!
im not looking for a 3rd party app. just something to keep that opened in the background.
you'll need a third-party to keep it opened - it wasn't designed for that use.
don't you have the date already under your clock? - no you don't...is it because you have a small taskbar?
it's not much help, sorry, but...
What would the difference be in having that open constantly and having a gadget, as pinning it open would effectively be just how a gadget is...
cause i dont like the way the authors design the clock gadgets
