How do you change the color of the square around a selected icon?

and thanks so much for all the help. i finally got it to work, i just had to restart my computer and all the highlights are orange now! im very greatful

oh and last thing, does anyone know which numbers are which. i am still not clear, i just would like to know if hot means hover? So yeah mainly, whats the difference between inactive hot, active hot, inactive selected, and active selected?

active hot - hover
inactive selected - selected file remains, but U work on another window or desktop
active hot selected - hover on a selected file
