Address bar below Menu bar - possible?

Hey,

I'd like to move the Menu bar over the Address bar in Windows Explorer. I faked a picture in Photoshop to explain what I'd like to achieve:

Is this possible?

The last time I did this was on Internet Explorer 7 in Windows XP. I hope it's possible in Windows Explorer, too.

Thank you.

130 people viewed this and no one had any suggestions. At least let me know it's impossible, so I can sleep at night

Welcome to the Seven Forums
I have never seen it done. But that does not mean it's impossible maybe no one has tried it yet. Sorry

Not sure if it helps, but is there an option, when you right-click an empty space on the menu, to lock the toolbars, if so, untick and try mving them manually.

Never tried myself, but may help.

Sorry, I did search quite a bit. It's easy in IE, but I didn't find any way to do it in Explorer. A Guy

Move the address bar below the menu bar in Windows Explorer
This is something I've wanted to do for a long time. In Windows XP, you were able to unlock the toolbars and move them around freely, including the Address Bar. In Windows Vista/Windows 7, however, the Address Bar is always at the top of the Explorer Window. For a long time, I had disregarded it as...

Hey everyone. I've ran into a problem that I can't quite figure out. My internet connection shows 'no internet access' even though my ISP shows the connection is coming into the house just fine. I usually use a router (NetGear-WNR3500U) but I right now I have the Ethernet connection plugged...
