Shifting to the right side of Taskbar

Hi, I have windows 7. I activated the quick launch task bar. It popped up on the right side of the screen. I dragged it to the left side but it doesnt go all the way over like it usually does.

And when I open any programs, the internet, etc. they open to the left side of the quick launch instead of the right side.

How can i get programs, internet, etc. to open on the right side of the quick launch task bar.?

    Thanks,

    ali

    Did you lock the taskbar?

Also, could you take a screenshot?

yes i locked the task bar. i know how to take a screen shot but i dont know how to post it within this box. so i created a WORD doc as an attachment. it is attached. it has a pic of my screen shot. if u look at the lower left hand side you'll see that i have two tabs open and then the quick launch to the right of those. i used to be able to bring the quick launch all the way over to the left and then my tabs opened to the right of it. but then i did a system recover and i was not able to do that again. i dont remember having any additional steps that i've forgotten.

Hello Alikidd, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Be sure to unlock your taskbar first, drag the dotted lines separator for QL all the way to the left, then drag the dotted lines separator to the left of the IE icons to the right of QL. Step 8 in the tutorial below can help show you more on this.

Quick Launch - Enable or Disable

    Hope this helps,
