HOW to create/modify Windows Keyboard Shortcuts with Layout Creator

Hi, I found this thread while searching for how to create custom Keyboard shortcuts that use the Windows Key, ideally without hacking the registry..

I read that it is possible, with Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator 1.4...

Looking at the help files is not very encouraging! It tells you to expect problems...

so I can't even see a windows key on the layout...

I would like instructions on how to add a winkey+S shortcut to the speech recognition tool,

%windir%\Speech\Common\sapisvr.exe -SpeechUX

(ideally with a "run minimized" parameter that is honoured, but that's asking a lot).

Any help most apppreciated.
