Windows 7 - How to make side placed taskbar thinner?

| | How to make side placed taskbar thinner? maybe another dumb question from me... When the taskbar is placed at the top or bottom, it's possible to make it very slim, using small icons, however, when the taskbar is placed on the left or right I cannot get it to behave the same way. Any ideas? |
