Speeh Recognition - Launch Prog SHortcut

HI

Great forum just joined but have been lurking for a long time.

Thanks for the great tuts.

I have a shortcut that will take me to the Speech Recognition section in COntrol Panel but would like to start the program with a shortcut and cant seem to find that.

Tried working with the link in control panel but can not highlight or use to create shortcut.

Any help wold be appreciated.

OK try this hit Start Button go to All Programs Accessories - Ease Of Access - Windows Speech Recognition right click go to Sent to then Desktop (create shortcut) and see if that works.

Of course -
duh- if all else fails, look for the application in the Programs list.

I'm a little late to the W7 party and held onto XP until recently - the Start Panel and programs are (thankfully) more tucked away in 7 -

Really liking what was done with Explorer - still use Directory Opus a lot but the Explorer in this version is much better.
