    Hello and welcome aboard dudezblaze :)

    Open C:\Windows\Branding\ShellBrd\shellbrd.dll with Resource Hacker .

    In the left panel expznd Version Info > 1 > *1033

    Now change the value fields descriptions within the strings . If you want you may add new values, too .

    But I would suggest you to have a Backup Complete Computer - Create an Image Backup before any modification of your system files ; so that in case of any trouble you may get your things back with least hassle , IMHO .

I'm looking for a way to change the background color of windows, menu fonts, etc. In XP there was a way to right click on desktop and go into advance display settings. Can someone point me the way on how to do this in 7? Thanks
