    Desktop Background

Hi, I am very new, so please bear with me.

Basically, the problem is, when I change my desktop background by simply right clicking and selecting the shortcut, the current desktop picture fades/transitions into the new one. Now I know it's supposed to do that, but a long while back, it stopped and so when I changed desktop backgrounds, it was instant. The fading effect was gone, and at that time I guess I pay much attention to it. NOW it has started doing it again, out of the blue. It's like 2 seconds, but it is frustrating me like you wouldn't believe! I have played around with the Advance System Settings but no luck.

PLEASE, I just want to disable it, permanently? Any help or tips appreciated!!

I love W7 but this is enough to make me begin hate it..

Hi ventusplz and welcome to SF
I guess I found what you were looking for
Just make sure the circled item is unchecked that gets rid of said fade effect
