    Losing Device Icon Metadata

I didn't know where else to stick this thread but I think here's a good place.

I just noticed that since I installed 7260 I've lost the device icons for things like my Sandisk Cruzer Micro USB Drives. Win 7229 automatically downloaded the metadata and displayed the icons. This failed on 7260 so I manually added the data but it vanishes from it's location! I've tried it a couple of times and each time it's gone once I click Devices and Printers to see if it's worked. Does anybody else have this problem or am I missing something?

    Can someone with 7260 check %LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Device Metadata\dmrccache.

If you don't have a folder called en-US, create one, close explorer then click the start orb-->devices and printers then check the file path again and see if the en-US folder is still there. Everytime I create this folder and and the files needed for the icon metadata it's removed after I check the devices in control panal.

I need to know if it's just my machine or a bug in 7260 due to the fact that it was created from a VHD image.

My family's pc is running 7201 and the icon metadata behaves as it's suppose to.

edit: FIXED! I had accidently left the DEVICEMETADATA-MS File labelled as copy. Once I renamed it and put all the files back it fixed it. I love those high-res icons
