Thanks for your work, Bongo! I got it to work on my personal computer, and now I have to get around all the restrictions on our public computers... but I'm pretty sure I'll be able to!

Thanks again!

Awesome fix! Is there a way you could create a customized theme based on the Win 7 Classic theme that does the same thing? That is, "hides" the Power button? Much appreciated.

Shut down computer, remove all power sources, hold down power button
Why does shutting down the computer, removing the AC Adapter, removing the battery (if it is a laptop), and holding down the power button for 30 seconds fix problems in one's computer. What I want to completely disable all this security as I only use trusted applications and am not connected to the internet. This added security is absolutely useless to me, and quite annoying. I want to be able to run things like I did in XP, no hassles, just double click it and off you go. I...

Trying to disable chkdsk completely.
I was unsure whether this should go here, or in crashing/debugging. Now before I start, I'm fairly sure the reason chkdsk even comes up is when I play around on my Ubuntu partition, although if so, that's very unfortunate. Why I don't want chkdsk: Last time I had a chkdsk come up I let it...
