Can I move TEMP/TMP to nested folder on re-directed drive?

I've got an SSD and I want to move the TEMP/TMP off my C: drive and onto my E: Hard Drive. I don't want to make the folders invisible, but I don't want to see them in my root whenever I look at E:

Would windows have a problem if I locate this folder within another folder and not at root? for example

E:-->WinScratch-->TEMP

I plan on putting a few other redirects inside WinScratch so I'd like to keep them all in one area.
