Tried two times using demo versions ... but I dont have the program in full . Following online tutorials, I was able to make spherical shapes, gears and 3d texts

Maybe I must have thrown myself in the deep end a bit then, I tried doing this

How to Create Explosive Typographic Effects in Cinema 4D – Graphic design tutorials, freebies, & advice by working artists and designers. | GoMediaZine

And as you can probably guess, I failed. I got the 3D text fine, but the shatter and explosion didn't go as planned

Glad you like it buddy :) If you ever want some more, or those changing in the future, just drop a post in this thread :)

    Tom

Edit: Maybe I shouldn't have posted it in this thread actually, strictly speaking it's not a sig or an avatar. If you want a sig/avatar in the future, post here, if not then start a new thread and send me a link :)

Buddy pal..I like the transformers text/style very much. Kudos.

Small suggestion, IMHO, the tagline shouldn't be in the same style. Better, put it in plain text. As well as I can see, the tagline overlaps the mirrored main text, which is not appealing. And dont use a mirror effect for the tagline. LOL, lots of suggestions. Hope ya dont mind.

    2 cents.

    Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the kind words :)

There's a great guide here if you want it:

Transformers Effect | Text Effects | PSHERO

Thanks for the tips. Yeah I agree with most of those and I'm more than happy to change anything that Thor doesn't like, so what do you think Thor?

    Hi Guys

Thought I would ask here as it seems as good a place as any. Is there an online site that would convert a coloured picture into greyscale. I am using a wallpaper that I think Arc made as my logon screen but would like to add it to the white explorer background but in a sort of pencil sketch fashion rather than colour if that makes sense.
