    WMP12 64bit Customizing help


    I have windows 7 ultimate 64 bit on my pc, I want to change the background of WMP. Now what I did, using Restorator 2007 changed the libraryimage 7(i am not remmbring the exatc name) with a image of my own flavour. Then Stopped a service of window media player through services.msc, took the ownership of wmploc.dll and saved the Restorator customized wmploc.dll. After this i even changed the library background from the registry to 6. Interestingly after, running the WMP 12 nothing is changed and even wmploc.dll has same default image (even aftr changing it).....I have done this background changing stuff on 32bit. But I don't know if i have to do something more in 64 bit. Hopefully Some one will help me...Thanks is advance :)

    I think in 64 bit , we need to tweak to files for this.. does anyone know, which one i am missing?

    Actually i was customizing the wrong file.....you should work on C:\Windows\SysWOW64\wmploc.DLL

    Every thing is same as 32 bit. :)

Ok, so I know you guys are the smartest when it comes to Windows 7 features, your tutorials and threads helped me so many times that I thought if you won't be able to figure it out - it's a dead end. I'm looking for some ways to change the looks of Windows Media Player 12 to something darker....
Windows media player 12 looks awesome, minimalistic and stylish, also pretty decent for touchscreens... but the lack of customizable keyboard shortcuts makes it clunky... I remember media player 6.4 in windows 2000 was wondeful.. then they went and screwed that up in all subsequent releases...
Is there any program to customize the fn keys? For example on my hp mini 110 the fn + f5 is blank I would like it to disable the screen while im not using the netbook. Cause sometime im just studing and listening to music. Thanks
WMP12+Toolbar on 64bit?

Is there anyway to do this :cry: I got wmp11 installed and the toolbar working, but the file assoication was all screwed up so i rolled back my system to windows media player 12. Any ideas? I hate not having the volume and seeker controls @ my finger tips.
