Windows 7: any clue how to replace marlett.ttf

any clue how to replace system font marlett.ttf in Windows 7 64bit?

Fonts Folder Permission

first the font folder was locked .. so
"attrib –r –s c:\windows\fonts" fixed that <-- im gonna look up what that actually does because that seemed to be the magic trick that works better then typing out takeown or icacls in cmd

so

then csrss.exe was said to be using the font from that point i tried using custom replacer program from "virtualplastic" site
which worked at unlocking but yielded error on overwrite so i manually deleted original font then when installing new marlett had to rename it from marlett_0.ttf to original name marlett.ttf

and in registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS NT\CURRENT VERSION\FONTS

made sure
Marlett (TrueType) matched marlett.ttf


otherwise after restart you'll lose your start menu and wouldnt see
selected check boxes as marlett.ttf wouldnt be fetched
