    Simple Taskbar Query

This is probably the easiest thing to fix and I simply do not know how...

If I have internet explorer and a bunch of other programs running (outlook, documents..etc) if I have an internet explorer window currently up and maximized and want to switch to another window and I try to click it on the task bar it opens behind internet explorer. This only happens when I have explorer open if I want to switch between windows on all the other programs I use I can just click on it in the task bar and it automatically switches.

It's mainly just annoying and slows down my work and makes me have to click a whole bunch more...

    Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

That is interesting. They should come up front.

But you could use Alt+Tab to switch between opened windows, Win+Tab for more effects in Aero, and finally to switch between pinned icons on the task bar Win+*number*, where *number* is index number of an icon starting from the first one next to Start orb.

my only thought here is that it should behave the way you expect. In fact, it seems a 3rd party or add-on utility is the only way i know of to force the IE window to remain on top. A system restore to a point in time when all seemed normal always works for me.
