How to delete Windows Logon Avatar?

I logon on in Windows 7 with Ctrl-Alt-Del with hidden previous logon name.
So I have to type in my logon name and logon password.
But I always see an "empty" avatar above the 2 input lines.

I have searched the Tutorials on this site (great by the way!!!)
Is there a way to delete this avatar?

my OS is Windows 7 ultimate 32-bit

Hi there
not quite the same thing but you can BYPASS the whole login and welcome screen

1) from the main menu select ==>accessories ==>run> and enter the following command control userpasswords2

2) then UNCHECK the users must enter a username and password to use this computer on the screen that appears.

then in the box appears after this enter a user name and password for the default user to be logged on automatically when the machine is booted up.

Just an idea if you really want to find a way around this...

If I've understood correctly it's just the frame you need to get rid of. In which case you could try one of the various free frame changing utilities and replace the default image with a empty/blank one (that said you could do the same for the picture itself, if required)? As I understand it there are ways to create empty bitmap images though I've never had the need to try this myself?

In the Frame menu there is a button to access the executables image folder for frame images into which you could place and then utilize your blank image?

It goes without saying that if you try this you should make sure everything is backed up first, and please be aware that some of these tools can either change your theme to default and/or change any modifications in Windows Explorer to the same? Therefore you would have to redo any changes again afterwards.

You want to " remove " the avatar box or you want to change to a picture of your choice ?

yes the goal is to remove the empty avatar box.

I had searched the net. Couldn't find anyarticle to remove avatar box.
Found one that would move it to another location, but that is not what you want.

I have a feeling that what you want is not possible.
Why not add a picture to the " empty " avatar box ?

I already had a strange feeling in the stomach that it wasn't possible but thanks for the idea of adding a picture to the frame instead of een empty frame.
