How do i get rid of the welcome screen?
I don't have a pass word but every time i start win 7 it brings me to the avatar and i have to click on it. It used to just boot into the normal screen. I wish to do that again?

Hmm, might check out this tutorial.
Log On Automatically at Startup
Thing that does it to me on my single account, no password system is VMWare player. Same method would probably fix it for you as well.

It's just virtualization software. I wasn't saying you have that installed, just gave you the link that has a registry entry that would probably fix your logon problem.
Are you saying the reg key didn't work? Did you enter in your own username in the key where it says "your user name", then save it to the desktop as a reg file, click on it to merge it, and reboot?

Leave the quotes, yes. Just put your computer username in place of where it says "your user name", save as a reg file in notepad onto your desktop, click on it to merge, click OK, reboot and that's it. Don't change anything else.
Open Notepad.
Copy and paste the entry like this -
Now put in your user name. I put in Sam just for example like this -
Click on File, then Save as...
Click on Desktop there in the pic. Where it says File name at bottom, name it whatever you want with .reg at the end. Say - logon.reg
Click Save.
Now you'll have the file on your desktop like this -
Click on that, say yes to merge. Reboot computer after.
