    Mozilla, IE, and Google Chrome


    Just wondering if anyone knows how to change the default icons for IE, Mozilla, and Chrome. I tried the maunally way but windows explorer crashes. Help would be appreciated.

    I just changed the properties of each area individually - ex - after mozilla was pinned to taskbar and start menu then i changed the properties of those ares separately and changed icon for each place. not just the main icon for the program folder. Actually I never changed the main icon in the program folder. Have had zero problems so far. Hope this helps

    attached is zip file of Mozilla icons i use

    you could always open the .exe file within the program folder using Restorator 2007 - I know that will work for sure without a doubt. just find the icon folder and assign your new icon to that folder and save. all will work fine. Just in case BACK UP THE ORIGINAL .EXE FILE FIRST.
