    Wallpaper Slideshow Transitions

When I first had my computer, the wallpaper/desktop slideshows transitioned between pictures smoothly. Further on down the road, there is no transition effect, just a direct cut-to. I have a feeling TuneUp Utilities is to blame, but I can't find a setting that relates to the wallpaper slideshow specifically in TuneUp, or Windows. Any thoughts/ideas? Thanks.

    Hello Coaxsist,

Normally if you checked the Turn off all unnecceassary animations box in the Ease of Access Center, or uncheck the Animate controls and elements inside windows option in the Visual Effects settings, then this will also remove the fade effect between wallpapers in the desktop slideshow.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

Help me! I have done what you said here but I still dont get a smooth transition, the image changes instantly. Dunno if this matters but I have Windows 7 64, HD Radeon 6870 and use two monitors.
