Any way to remove user picture frame in log on screen?

Is there any way to remove the frame that should display an user avatar? It's just not necessary in this case.

Other than that suggested by richc46 , this post by Kishan Bagaria would be helpful for you . Read the questions that Karl asked to him, and Kishan's answers thereto .

It's definitely not what I need.

Your advice is a little better. But I don't like to use such programs that are doing something with my system and I don't know what exactly. I prefer to work with registry and system files directly by myself and see what I do.

Besides, that program didn't work for me. It's created on VB (that is not good) and possibly some additional VB libraries are needed. Or it's just a bad code.

Though your advice gave me a direction in which to dig.
