Resizing shouldn't be an issue .. you're linking to the image rather than uploading it to SF servers... I think

I thought the original needed a bit of colour to spice it up

They're saved as CS4 styles but you may be able to use them. Unless you're already running CS4

If you create a new image or open an existing file, click the 'Shape Tool'

Draw the shape you want

On the right hand panel, click styles then 'Web Styles'

You will now have the styles loaded

Now the shape will change as you click each style

The same can be applied for any shape, even custom shapes enjoy
