Windows 7 Ultimate, removing window borders, and other customize questi

Hi folks, I have a couple questions regarding the customizing of Windows 7 ult .. Hopefully someone can help

1.) The borders around any windows in win 7 utl, are they removable?

2.) if a file folder has a scroll bar and it I were to scroll to the bottom of the
page and click something and open it, within 15-20 second the window
resets and scrolls back to the top of the file folder.

3.) I use a Canon 8800f scanner and windows that appear are locked in the middle
of the screen. The screen that popsup also changes "control" and
automatically puts itself infront of all windows. How do I change the location
of these windows that might popup.

I know these might sound simple and silly but any help offered would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
    Chuck

Hello Chuck, and welcome to Seven Forums.

For Q1, you could set the Border Padding size to 0 in Advanced Appearance Settings to effectivly remove them. In addition, you might also uncheck the Show shadows under windows in Visual Effects to not have them either.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn
