Hello ZMan, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You will not be able to have a slideshow with the logon screen saver. As in the tutorial, it can only be a blank black screen if enabled. Anything else, and you get that message in the NOTE box at the top of the tutorial.

    Sorry,
    Shawn

Is there anyway to have a screen saver even local or run by 3rd party that will get this to work. My boss wants to "show" images to clients when giving tours and it helps to "show" off the product mores if not in use. Any ideas or leads you can give me? I try different tricks but still nothing.

You could use the normal Photos screen saver, change it's settings to have what folder of pictures you want to slide show from and how often to shuffle them, then have the On resume, display logon screen option checked. This way after your computer is idle after x amount of minutes you set, you could have a slide show screen saver, and have to log on to access the computer when resuming from the screen saver.

No, you would need to log on first. After the amount of idle minutes you set, the screen saver will then run.

If you have the On resume, display logon screen option checked, then it will require that you must log back in to be able to access the computer again when you or someone resumes from the screens saver once it runs. This way you would not have to worry about someone having unauthorized access to the computer.

So the best way to do this then is to set the account to auto logon when the system is booted up and then let it auto logout and turn on screen saver?

If you wanted it to go to a screen saver quickly after log on, then that would work with a short minute wait period. Technically, it goes to screen saver first, then locks the computer until you provide your log in credentials again upon resuming from the screen saver.
