Windows 7: A missing gadget

Hello Friends

I am running Windows 7 32Bit at work.

In the old days of Visa, I had a Notes gadget (yellow in colour) where I could quickly take notes of something.

That gadget is missing among the default gadgets in Windows 7 !! I went online in an attempt to find the gadget, but there weren't any that were by Microsoft.

There were a lot that were made by independent people, but the quality is really bad.

Where can I get that old Notes gadget ?

I would greatly appreciate any help.

There are several things you can do:

1. Windows Live Gallery - This is the note gadget for windows gadgets.

2. Use Google Dekstop. I trust my life to this thing, and when you double hit CTRL, you can search your entire computer in seconds (a bit like the spotlight in mac)

3. Stickies. I use this thing all the time. It has keyboard shortcuts for easily creating a new note.

(4. Yahoo Gadgets) I don't like this one, but it works and you have a "Dashboard" mode, maybe even more useful.
