I Need Help To Create REG. Script With Admin. Priv. For Reg. Editor?
Hello. I have a technical question/issue I wish to ask. I hope someone can help me.
I am looking help for someone to modify or rewrite for me a simple system registry script for my context menu that allows or forces to "run as administrator" privileges automatically when I click on the "Registry Editor" option in my Windows 7's desktop's context menu. I am not an expert with complex script writing. I need your help.
Here is a copy of my current working system registry script below that does NOT have administrator privileges that opens the Registry Editor in my Windows 7's Desktop's Windows Context Menu. It needs to be modified by being written or rewritten to automatically allow when executed as an administrator:
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background\shell\Registry Editor]
"Icon"="regedit.exe"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background\shell\Registry Editor\command]
@="regedit.exe"
***IMPORTANT: PLEASE MODIFY THE SCRIPT BY WRITING IT IN LEGIBLE ASCII LIKE ABOVE AND NOT HEX OR ANY OTHER CODE IN IN ANY WAY! THANK YOU!
I have also attached the same code as above in TXT format below to this question for your simplicity so you can work with it here, on your Notepad, or default script editor; then save and attach back to me in your reply comment the working correct modified script.
For your information, this system registry script is for Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.
Please reply.
Thank you!
