    How do I change file color ( or bg color of a file )


    hi,
    i know that in mac you can organize files by changing the background of their name.
    i am wondering how can i do it in windows 7.
    im not searching 4 a way to change all the files, but only some files in a folder- what will make them pop.. or somthing..

    2 is Magic Folder Icon Magic Folder Icon - give an icon for all your folders on your computer

    first of all 10x
    second.. :) .. that doesnt help me so much..
    i don't want to change the icon of a folder or file.. cuz i can do that thing very easily in windows..
    what i want to do, is to change the color of the name of a file.
    like in that pic i made.

    if you or someone could find ( or create :) ) a program or a way to do this, it would make my life so much better :)

    No way to do this built into windows.

    Not heard of a tool that will do this in explorer (not that there isn;t one, but never heard of one).

    There is a completely seperate program called Explorer++ which DOES do this (Well it will change the text color, not the background).

    Explorer++ is not as "pretty" but has a lot of functionality built into it. And it's free.
