John, you should right click on image > open link in a new tab. This action will load the image in its full size, and without the black bar below it.

Someone made an illustrated tut on applying sigs. Now I can't find it.

Here's a New One
Go to User CP

Edit Signature

At the request of pebbly just in case you need to delete the old one first put a check mark in the Delete current image then click on Save Signature you may have to go up in the window and delete the rest then Save Signature again.

Click on Browse

Navigator to your signature and Click Open

Click on Upload then click on Save Signature

Click on Insert Signature Picture

It should show up in the window looking like this now you may choose to align it to the Right, Middle, Left

That should be it.

Good tut Bongo, but you forgot to add "delete the old sig first!! " (if you have one in use )
