Can't see folders in a "Save as..." menu

I think this problem started after I installed a custom theme on my PC. I'm using the uxtheme thing (the one that creates a process and doesn't actually modify the files.)

When I am in a program that wants me to save something, and it opens the Save As window, I can't see the folders/ explorer thing on the left. (I'll show a picture). This also happens when it wants me to open something, too.

Has anyone had this problem? How can I fix it?

Thanks

(And when I did save as in MS Paint, it shows the folder, etc. in the left....)
So it works in paint, but not Word, Powerpoint, etc.

First, Try another theme; better back to default aero and look if the issue is still there . If it is not there, it must be a problem of this particular theme (I am seeing that the explorer frame and address bar are also not there).

If it is still there, run SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker .

Report back with the results .
