Can't see metadata comments
This problem is on my workstation at work where I recently migrated to 7.
I use the metadata "comments" field to quickly identify the contents of files which have obscure filenames (item numbers). The files are mainly on a server, not my PC.
In explorer, when I use view - details - comments, the fields are all blank.
If I go to another machine running Vista or XP, I can see the comments ok.
Is this facility lost forever now I'm on 7?
