Under Personalize when right clicking the desktop and choosing that option (last one), the page that comes up is always the same in my new Win installation. Mainly, it shows Default as My Theme on top, then Aero Themes with 7 of them there, and Installed Themes with one entry, Default.
The bottom says:
Desktop Background: Harmony
Windows Colour: Sky
Sounds: Windows Default
Screen Saver: None
No matter what changes I make, this page remains the same, and doesn't allow me to change/save anything.
That being said, the changes that I do make actually work. For example, I have a windows background that changes every 12 hours, with high resolution space pictures, works. I have windows colour set as Green and it works, I have different sounds, works and I have a screen saver setup and that works as well, but the Personalize Page stays exactly the same as when Windows was installed, and doesn't give the option to save a theme or anything.
I checked services and the themes service is functioning and started properly.
I don't really mind but I'd like to save a couple different themes and change with a click, but I cannot, and this problem is really weird. Amazingly, the same thing happened on my laptop when I just installed Home Premium 64bit, this same problem is there (I have Ultimate 64 on my main rig).
Everything else works like a charm, and like I said, even these options work, just the personalize page doesn't show them or show what is actually in use, it always shows the defaults that I wrote above.
Thank you for your help.
I have included the picture of the personalize page, keep in mind the settings I actually use, different completely from what it says there.
