    SendTo SendTo

I wanted to add ResHacker to the SendTo context menu. I could not immediately recall the location and I had to dig around. I found the location and performed the task successfully.

While I was there, I created a shortcut to the SendTo folder and placed it in the SendTo folder. Now, I can create a copy of an app in the SendTo folder, but I want a shortcut to the app instead. As it is now, I create a shortcut and send it to SendTo. I would like to emulate Send To Desktop (create link) with the SendTo shell folder as the target.

Does anyone remember SendTo Toys? It would send a shortcut in one click.

Another cool thing about SendTo - place a shortcut to a folder in SendTo and you get a single-click command to copy a file to that folder.

    My goals:
    - Send shortcuts to SendTo with a single click
    - Move files to fixed location via SendTo

I had assumed that the app was not compatible. It is installed now. It doesn't send a link to the Send To menu, but it is still helpful. I have an archive offline that has an app for sending shortcuts to Send To - can't remember the name. Apparently, it is not Send To Toys.

During this beta run, I have noticed a problem with the context menu. On my installs, it has not tolerated a large population very well. A lot of sluggishness has resulted and the corrective action was to remove commands. Not having that problem w/ 16385 to this point. I might load it up to test.

    Hi Antman,

This is actually quite simple. First, open the folder in which ResHacker is located. Next, click the start orb and type shell:sendto in the search box and press enter/return. Arrange these 2 folders so that you can see the contents of both. Now right click on ResHacker.exe and drag it to the SendTo folder. When you release the mouse button, select Create shortcuts here. You can then rename this shortcut if you wish.

I understand. Shell:SendTo was the fruit of my digging.

In XP, I had an entry in the SendTo context menu that work worked much like Send To Desktop (create link) - it would "Send To SendTo (create link)", if you will.
