remove mediainfo from context menu

sorry for posting a new thread for a tiny thing
but how do i remove this

You could possibly also remove mediainfo from the computer if you don't use it. You must have installed it at some point. See if it is in the 'programs & features' in the control panel.

Not finding it there , and i never use it..

edit: i didn't know it comes with k-lite codec pack.

Sometimes the name is not very obvious may have to do some very close checking.

After doing some googling have you by chance installed any k-lite codec some people have reported the same thing by using them.

yes i have k-lite codec installed

In shellexview you may need to look for K-lite just a guess.
You could try to uninstall them and see if it removes that item.

okay i uninstalled it. the media info is gone after that my firefox icon disappeared too, but i uninstalled and reinstalled it. now question is where do i get a codec pack that won't add up stuff to context menus

Good to hear it's gone. As far as the codec pack goes I have no idea I have seen a lot of people on here use Shark007 codec (The maker of that is a member here) but I have no experience with it.
