How if possible can you add gif image looping back to wallpapers

im recently noticed that when i try to make a animated .gif image my background the image freezes in the first frame

i know this is cause windows 7 doesnt support it so lets just skip the useless take me no closer to solving my problem replys of that

iv been searching around and alota people say u can make them work by downloading a "program" to create or convert them but i really dont feel like downloading another file il only ever use once just so it can clutter my computer

i was hoping someone would know how to enable it via registry's

I am so sorry that we have wasted your time trying to find an answer to your problem. Between your post and the other person's post there has been more than 300 Views look at it so I am guessing it cannot be done the way you want it to be done. I guess if you want to downgrade to XP just to have an animated .gif on your desktop that will be up to you.
It looks like I just wasted some more time
