    Editing explorerframe.dll for classic theme

    I have a reshacked my explorerframe.dll in /system32 as well as /syswow64, but I see no changes using classic theme

    Does these bitmaps have another location?

    Ok, so I played around with the other bitmaps in explorerframe.dll and managed to identify the ones needed to be changed. However it seems like there's still a 'mask' of the original buttons somewhere. Where do I find this bitmap?

    Alternatively I'm willing to give up the forward/back buttons all together, anyone know how to remove them completely? Or maybe removing the whole address/path bar?

    Welcome to the Seven Forums
    Did you try editing #281 or #581 I am just guessing

    Which numbers were for the classic navigation buttons?

    Yeah, have edited those as well.

    These affect the classic navigation buttons;

    281
    582
    583
    584

    aaaaaah, the 'mask' I was referring to was an alpha channel i spotted in photoshop. SOLVED!

    Now I need to edit these and I'm good to go, yay.

    PS. If someone happens to know how to remove the address bar, don't hesitate mentioning it

    Good to hear you got it. Trying to customize the Classic Theme is a tough one not many have tried it.
