Default Explorer window blue box

I don't know about others, but that big blue status box on the bottom of explorer windows, which stays blue even with a black theme,is driving me nuts!I did find that the old status bar is there, but it does not replace the blue box,it just adds it.Is there any way to either change the color of the box,or get rid of it somehow and just use the old status bar? Registry change or hack or something? Any help is appreciated,Thanks.

Default Never mind I figured it out

After I posted the previous message I found the answer, just press the organize button, choose layout, and click details pane. Now I just have the nice little status bar.Sorry I called it status box,but that's how you learn a new os isn't it,investigate, research, and trial and error.

When you open a windows explorer window, even if you have aero installed or another black theme, you will have black at the top and borders, but at the bottom there is a thick blue area that sticks out like a sore thumb. All it will have is a message like "3 items" meaning you have three items in that folder.I called it status box because I thought that's what it was.But it is called the details pane, and can be added or removed from the organize button. If you want the old style status bar click view and status bar.Remember,I'm just talking about an open windows explorer window.
