So, I finally installed the student version of Adobe Photoshop Extended CS5 on my Windows 7 computer. The interface is as I know it from Photoshop Elements, with, of course, a lot of extra tools and features, so it's quite homely for me :-) The only difference is that the program is in German (no English version available at the uni shop), which is fine with me (most Swiss are multilingual). So, now I have to familiarise myself with the new stuff :-D

Very good news Athene.

Thr main magic of photoshop is the blending options, which can do plenty of things , excellently. Right click on the layer's thumbnail on the layers pallet, and select blending options from the context menu, it will open the layer style window. A lot of very powerful options are listed in the left pane. Select one by one, play with the attributes and variables of the right pane, and see the changes.

I wish you will be able to get it easily, and it will bring your creativity to a level which is even higher.

Apparently the default language is English. Close the program and see if you can find and rename the *.dat file in your locales folder.

Look for C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5\Locales\es_MX\Support Files

es_MX will be different depending on language. Swiss might be sw_SW , etc.

You should find tw10428.dat rename that to tw10428.bak
