Can Files be set to "DEFAULT" to large thumbnails?

As a professional photographer, I put in a lot of image files, etc. '

Is there a way to set the thumbnail images to a larger size by "default"? In other words, every time I open a file of images, I want each image to be larger. As it stands now, when I open a new file it defaults to "details" instead of thumbnails. This is rather annoying and time consuming if I've just downloaded hundreds of images.

Any help or advise is appreciated.

Thanks.
