    Why won't folder customization "stick"?

I right-click a folder on my desktop, then Properties, then Customize, and then "Optimize this folder for:" say, Music, and check "Also apply this template to all subfolders". Then Apply and OK.

Next time I open the folder, it's optimized for "General Items" again --what am I missing here?

Have you tried the option "Apply to all folders" it's in Folder Options, and then change every folder back to normal view? I don't remember the exact location co'z it's been a long time since I used "Windows Explorer" I'm using Directory Opus since last 3 Months and Trust me it's 100x times better than this windows explorer crap.

    Thanks

I was missing something, and you "pointed" it out (in red even). Thanks again.

I wish this worked. I really do. But when I designate a folder "Music" type, and then "Apply to (All) Folders", it works for that session; when I restart the computer it's all lost.

    Windows is such crap.
