Animated/Interactive Wallpapers, please help!

Hi, I've recently upgraded to win 7 and was wondering if its possible to use animated interactive backgrounds on it. I've read up a little trying to google search it but mostly all I've seen is suggestions of making it into a video loop(lame!)

The particular wallpaper I'm interested in is this one:
Flaming Cursor, Interactive computer wallpapers, Multimedia, Animation Software Animated Desktop Wallpaper

And if possible I'd love to overlay it on a static background.

Thanks for taking the time to read this,

Hi knight8slayer, welcome to 7F!

Not sure if this will work for you or not:
Rainmeter, desktop customization tool

Found reference to it here:

A video loop can be nice too - e.g. if it is a burning fireplace.

If you specifically want the fire : NAPALM Software Informer: Latest version download, news and info about this FireStarter program. Draw in animated fire ink over your Windows desktop, on a transparent overlay.

It does not follow gestures but you can create a drawing with different fire styles.

Hope this helps!
